About

Never Too Late

In 2017 Doug Earl, of Goshen, IN, stumbled upon the online recordings of a downtrodden ex-journalist and former bingo hall manager from South Bend, IN -- B. Jacob Sandock -- who had been quietly writing music and lyrics on couches and in dark Indiana rooms for a quarter century. Joined by Chuck Long on drums/percussion, Jake Carl Miller on Yamaha keyboard and Jacob Randolph Snyder on tenor sax, Earl (bass) encouraged Sandock (vocals/guitar) to be the focal point in the mix and share his words and music with the world; and the result of all this is Sanchez AGENCY.

"The cool kids are always telling me my music is 'this' or 'that'...'New Age Pop Punk' or whatever. 'Blues Brothers meets Elvis Costello,'" said Sandock. "But to me, it's just me...you know? When pressed, I call it 'Bingo Hall Indie Rock,' but honestly I don't think any of us linger on what style we are. Personally, I'm just so happy these fellas from Goshen found me. I know it's not conventional to start your first band at age 43, but hopefully this sends a message to anyone, anywhere, who is passionate about something. I am just so grateful to finally be making music."

It's never too late.
